How to join.
Four steps to Knox County. No whitelist, no application, no mod fiddling.
Step 1: Project Zomboid on Steam
You need Project Zomboid on Steam. AffenBiss runs Build 42, the stable version: just update the game, no beta branch needed.
Step 2: Hop into the Discord
On Discord you get the server address and the exact launch day. We kick off in October 2026, until then the server gets its final polish. You'll find people to team up with there too.
Step 3: Connect, remember your password
In the game: Multiplayer, enter the address, connect. The first time, you pick a username and password for the server. Remember both, that's how you get back to your survivor every time. It has nothing to do with your Steam password.
Step 4: Let the mods load, start biting
Nothing to install: the game downloads all mods by itself when you join. That takes a while the first time, after that it's quick. Then claim a house and show some teeth.

At launch you'll find a “Play now” button here: one click, Project Zomboid starts and connects you directly. Until then: launch in October 2026, and you'll hear the exact day first on Discord.
