The Rules.
Only a few, but they count. Break them and you get a penalty from a fixed catalogue, in the game and on Discord. No stress: if you play normally, you won't notice any of this.

Everywhere
Rule 1: Don't be a jerk.
No insults, no racism, no hate speech, no threats. Applies in the game, on Discord and in voice chat.
Rule 2: German or English.
Both work in chat and on Discord. Other languages in private only, please.
Rule 3: No spam, no ads.
No invites to other servers, no advertising for others, no message floods.
Rule 4: Keep it clean.
No sexual, brutal or disturbing content. Names, profile pictures and status texts count too.
Rule 5: One monkey, one account.
No alt accounts to get around limits or to sit out penalties.
Rule 6: The team has the final say.
Settle disputes via ticket, not in public. Admin decisions stand, and you can appeal via ticket too.
In the game
Rule 7: PvE means PvE.
No attacks on other players, not even the sneaky way: no luring hordes to others, no traps for fellow players.
Rule 8: Hands off other people's stuff.
Other people's claims, vehicles and crates are off limits, even if you somehow get in.
Rule 9: No cheats, no mod tricks.
No hacks, no unauthorised mods, no helper tools. Use anything like that and you're out for good.
Rule 10: Don't bend the game mechanics.
Bugs, exploits, hoarding, farming loot with tricks: if it feels like cheating, it is. Report bugs on Discord in #bug-meldungen.
Rule 11: Claims live on being lived in.
How much you can claim depends on your playtime. A house without visits expires after 14 days, a car after 7. You can see the countdown in your account.
On Discord
Rule 12: Right channel, right topic.
Looking for a group in #gruppensuche, trading in #handel, problems via ticket.
Rule 13: Ping with brains.
Don't ping the team for no reason and don't spam people via DM.
🎥 Streaming and recording are explicitly welcome. If you stream and want to support us, open a ticket.
And if you break them?
We're here to play, not to punish. Everyone messes up or loses it sometimes. That's why there are steps, and old strikes expire.
Minor
For example: Losing it in chat, spam, wrong channel, pinging, arguing in public.
- 1st timeNote
- 2nd timeWarning
- 3rd timeTimeout 1 day
- 4th time and afterBan 1 day
Moderate
For example: Targeted insults, entering someone else's claim, luring a horde, exploiting a small bug, hoarding.
- 1st timeWarning
- 2nd timeBan 1 day
- 3rd timeBan 3 days
- 4th time and afterBan 7 days
Serious
For example: Griefing that causes damage, theft, killing players, exploits with a big advantage, racism or hate speech, alt accounts to get around penalties.
- 1st timeBan 3 days
- 2nd timeBan 7 days
- 3rd timeBan 30 days
- 4th time and afterBan, length decided by the team
Permanent
For example: Cheats, hacks, unauthorised mods, obvious troll accounts made only to wreck things.
- Permanent ban
Staying human
- Old strikes expire. Counted per severity. Go 60 days without a new penalty of that severity and you start again at step 1.
- Owning up counts. If you admit you messed up or make it right, you can get off one step lighter.
- Appeal via ticket. Someone else from the team decides on it, not the person who penalised you.
- Permanent only for 🔴. Everything else is temporary.
- Where it happens, it counts. Minor and moderate stuff gets penalised where it happened: in the game or on Discord. From 🟠on, the ban applies in the game and on Discord.
- Transparent. Timeouts and bans are posted on Discord in #strafen. Your own penalties and when they expire are in your account.
